Science Teacher

Science teachers design curriculums to provide students with the guidance and instruction that will enable them to understand various scientific concepts and gain skills for problem-solving. Science teachers will spend most of their time teaching, planning lessons, holding science demonstrations, and grading. They also have to seek out students who struggle in the class and connect them to school resources to help them improve in the course. Logical-mathematical intelligence is crucial in this career as one will have to keep material that needs to be graded organized, such as homework, projects, tests, quizzes, and attendance forms. They will have to analyze and examine each student’s progress constantly to ensure that they are up to date on students who require extra help to notify parents. Another way science teachers use logical-mathematical intelligence is that they tend to be detail-oriented, problem solvers, and have formed strong instructional skills to give students guidance that helps them feel comfortable solving various types of problems. Lastly, science teachers have to brainstorm lesson plans to uplift students’ curiosity in STEM as this is a vital field for future advancements and leadership.
