The “Silver Social Impact Badge” demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the importance of voting and voting encouragement, and effective ways to get involved to make a social impact in communities through local politics including the Mayor, City Council and School Board.

The “Bronze Social Impact Badge” demonstrates knowledge and understanding about Asian American Pacific Islanders (AAPI) and AAPI history, including the story of Mamie Tape and Tape v Hurley, a landmark court case in the fight for equality in education.  

The “Silver Smart Leadership” Impact Badge demonstrates knowledge and understanding of common leadership traits that many good leaders possess, further career exploration by multiple intelligence, and the importance of overcoming the underrepresentation and mispresentation of AAPI females.

The “Bronze Smart Leadership” Impact Badge demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the multiple intelligences, how these are applied by AAPI female notables and trailblazers in changemaker careers, and how each of us can lead with our strengths.
