Have you heard of DEIs? DEI stands for diversity, equity, and inclusion and it is employed at colleges and the workplace to make the environment more welcoming for people of diverse backgrounds. In this course, we review DEIs: why they’re necessary and different examples of successful DEIs that can be revolutionary for groups that face discrimination. We also tackle the question: What if DEIs are unsatisfactory or nonexistent… then what?
