Stockbroker

The main task of a stockbroker is to buy and sell the stock for a client. These individuals work at a brokerage firm and work with many clients daily, so advanced organizational skills are key as they manage files and information on transactions. There are two types of stockbrokers full-service: those that offer investment advice and discount brokers who only do trading for the client. Discount brokers tend to be individuals that work online and only receive a smaller commission than full-service brokers. A career as a stockbroker will require logical-mathematical intelligence because to complete the tasks, one needs to be analytical, comfortable with computers, able to interpret stock market trends, understand economic shifts that occur, and brainstorm personalized investment advice for clients.
